TAKEALOT False advertising and bad customer experience.

i have place an order for a watch that was on from from R2400 to R699 on the 06th of May. I got an sms stating that i will receive my order on the 10th, i waited no call but i got an sms saying my delivery will be delivered. So that friday i didnt receive anything. On monday the 13th of May i tracked my order and the status was cancelled. To my surprise i called Takealot to find out why and the told my that the watch was sent back to the warehouse, i tried explaining to the agent that i need my watch to be delivered or alternative i can drive to the warehouse and the agent advised that they dont do collection at the jhb warehouse. I emailed Takealot and Palesa M advised that she will investigate and get back to me as the courier did only 1 attempt according to the system. Palesa M got back to me and advised that i have cancelled the order that is why it was returned to the warehouse. i did request the proof of cancellation but nothing was sent.

So i totally believe that it was a false advertising because normally when i order i get my stuff with and a hassle. Ever since i was doing business with takealot this was the worst customer experience i have ever had. Because when i tried to order again the supplier was out of stock.
