Takealot failure to honour price
I ordered something from the daily deal together with other items. I then cancelled the order to separate the items, as some of the items had a later delivery date. Takealot is now refusing to honour the daily deal price for the second order as they say that I already placed an order for the day and cannot order the same thing twice on the daily deal. To me, as I cancelled the first order, the second order would be the only order for the day. It makes no sense to me why they cannot honour the price. As someone who regularly buys from Takealot I am really disappointed by the attitude from the call centre and the manager.

06 Jan 2022, 17:56Update. Takealot has subsequently called me back to say that they will honour the price in this instance. Going forward however, if I cancel the order, they will not honour it for subsequent orders, in terms of their terms and conditions. While I appreciate that they are honouring it in this instance, I have informed them that I think that the policy needs to be reviewed. I am still of the opinion that a cancelled order should not count as an actual order.
