Takealot failure to deliver

While Takealot website is easy to use, their ability to deliver on time leaves much to be desired. I am experiencing late deliveries more frequently recently. My last order was due to be delivered on Monday 4th. When I didn't receive my order, I called on Tuesday and was told that they could not get hold of the driver but will deliver early on Wednesday. It is now 6pm on Wednesday and no delivery. Calling the call centre is also problematic with agents unable to hear you or the phone rings with no answer. In some instances up to 10 minutes. The irony is that I live less than 5km from the depo in strijdom park. I once received a delivery in the usa from New York to SanDiego in 27 hours. That is across a continent east to west. Takealot can't deliver 5km away in 3 days.
