TAKEALOT FAILURE - ONE TO MANY!

I ordered 2 hard case suitcases in November 2023. MRRN-J7E9J-VBND . One of which is still in the original packaging (suitcase 1). The other (suitcase 2)was used by my daughter for the first time on a overseas trip Feb,March 2024. The handle broke on day 2 and she had to glue it 3 times over the 8 week trip. I informed Takealot of this and sent back the unopened suitcase 1 due to poor quality. They sent it back given that the 3 month period lapsed. Multiple emails followed. I sent both suitcases (1 and 2) back again as an exception was allowed to return again. The warehouse returned both. I got this response from Chad.J " Chad.J (takealot.com) May 3, 2024, 18:58 GMT+2 Hi Ronel, This exception was initially approved by a manager when it was logged. As advised our warehouse has the final say whether this is approved or not. Regrettably, we cannot change that outcome. Kind regards Chad.J

How is this possible?? To add to this I was sent 2 curtains of different lengths on 17 April 2024. I sent them back in excellent order. The warehouse indicated that my return was not accepted as I gave the "wrong" reason. MRRN-VVRGQ-K5JQ; MRRN-38P59-WEKY. Wrong product/drop length delivered. Again exceptionally poor service - This was TAKEALOTS mistake.

Takealot is not what it used to be. They cannot be trusted to dispatch items correctly, nor do they have skilled staff that can really evaluate returns. I am done with Takealot. Lets see if they respond to this?
