Takealot fails to deliver!

My order was supposed to be delivered today and it was not delivered as promised! On the order tracking it still says that it has not been shipped - even though it was supposed to be shipped on the 28th of July 2021. This is ridiculous! I have not received any communication indicating that my item would not arrive and it is shown to be in stock on their website.

I have heard just great things about Takealot, but this really makes be question my friends and family's reviews. My old phone stopped working on Monday and I really needed to get my new phone by today (Thursday, 29 July 2021) - so that I can bank and access my emails properly.

I was on hold for more than 30 minutes and was not able to reach your client services - which is appalling. Please get your customer service right and hire more people! An online business without brilliant support and query resolution is not worth its salt. Please escalate this matter to a manager, as Takealot has broken their promises and not delivered.
