Takealot don’t worry about Sellers.

If you are thinking about selling on takealot, rather just throw all your stock away and burning your money.

1. All the fees they don’t talk about. It’s success fees and fulfilment fees, storage fees and the courier costs!

2. Takealot’s rules. If you send a shipment (order) out, and the courier service is late, or the shipment gets ******. Sorry to hear. They will “lock” your stock (meaning you can’t sell stock)

3. Refunds and returns. Takealot will refund the customer, no matter the condition of the returned item. And you will have to pay the courier again to return the item from takealot’s DC. And when you get the stock (eventually) you might as well throw it away. The original packing gets sent you in pieces, the items are all thrown in a bag (if you are lucky you’ll get it in a box) and soo dusty!

So if you are looking into selling on takealot. Stop. Rather look at Makro or Bob shop.
