Takealot doesn't want to collect a return parcel

I have been trying to return a parcel to Takeaolot for the past three weeks. I have emailed numerous times and every time they tell me someone is coming to collect the parcel but no one ever comes. When I ask what happened, I was told the courier could get hold of me, which is a blatant lie. No one ever called me of texted me to say they are coming to collect. Last week Thursday I had a conversation with someone on their Tweeter account, confirmed my address and gave them an alternative number since they are saying they cant get hold of me. They said they'll arrange for someone to collect the parcel on Monday but no one came. I sent a message on Twitter again yesterday and was told the driver will reschedule the collection date. I dont know what game they are playing but I'm guessing they are doing all of this so that the return period will lapse and they can tell me I can't return the product anymore. This is against consumer rights and I will definately escalate this to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombuds. Takealot can't get away with it.
