Takealot doesn't deliver!

I ordered 2x 5 tier shelving units from takealot.com. I made sure that the delivery would be by 1 April 2026. When I tracked the item, the app said that it hadn't been shipped yet. I called the call centre and poke to Zanele J. She assured me that the order would still be delivered on time. I then received a message to say that the order would be delivered on 2 April. I needed the shelves on 1 April. 2 April was too late. I spoke to Linda M. in the call centre. She said that she would get back to me. 1.5 hours later, I called again and spoke to Sipho B. He said that he would get back to me in 10 minutes (at 16H30), which he did. He couldn't get hold of the warehouse to enquire about my order. I tried to call again at 17H15, but this time, the call centre was closed. Shocking service from a well-reputed company! I have had to cancel my order. I am fuming! I would have made another plan if I knew that the shelving units wouldn't be delivered on time.
