Takealot does not honor manufacturers warranties!!

I am very disappointed in Takealot who is not honoring their manufacturers warranties. We bought a Ryobi blower/mulcher in September 2024 and it carries a 2 year warranty. When it was sent back to Takelot in May due to a fault with the motor, they just send it back with the reason that the product shows wear and tear. How ridiculous is that?? Obviously the blower has been used as directed and it will accumulate wear and tear after a few months but this does not mean that the repair to the motor should be declined. It would seem Takealot expects you to purchase an item and let it sit in the corner without ever using it. What is the use of buying something with a warranty if they are going to ignore it? They keep escalating the issue with their workshop but no-one actually ever comes back with an answer. Very very disapppointed.
