Takealot does not deliver

I bought a shower panel from Takealot on 22 September 2021 because I am building a spare bathroom. I specifically bought this panel and colour as they could deliver it by 27th Sept. There was stock in Jhb! Then when I track it the date suddenly moves to 7th Oct, then the 4th, the 5th and then back to the 4th. I cannot pay builders to stand around waiting so I went and bought another one 70km from my place. I phoned one of the companies that sells through Takealot to do this and paid a higher price, but the guy confirmed he has stock and there was NO reason for the delay!!! Now there is no option on Takealot to cancel the order! I do quite a bit of buying through Takealot for business and private and am starting to find a pattern where orders are paid and confirmed based on stock and delivery dates, and then Takealot start to mess me around with delivery dates. Takealot really need to review their business model and deliver on their commitments. As I said, this is the second time I have caught them with their proverbial pants down, and I have suffered costly losses because of a ****py system that does not work! I am looking for alternative companies t deal with as a result.
