Takealot do not care about their customers

I wanted to order two car covers for my vehicle and my daughters vehicle and thinking I was ordering a car cover for my ecosport I had actually ordered a wheel cover. I immediately contacted takealot when I realised what I had done. They called me back to say it was too late to cancel and was ready for shipping and that I could give them a call once delivered and they would activate their return policy. On the morning of delivery a box arrived and I quite excited opened it for the car cover. To my astonishment it only contained the wheel cover. I immediately called takealot for the reuturn code and informed them that I had opened the box but that the car cover was not there. The lady was quite shocked and said that they were supposed to deliver two parcels and that she would call back once she got hold of the driver. That after noon I got the car cover and the next day they arrived to collect the wheel cover. After 3 days I got an email to say that they would not refund me for the wheel cover as I had opened the box and by opening the box I had broken the box seal. My advise to anybody buying from takealot make sure of your purchase because takealot do not need customers and make their money by refusing returns.
