Takealot dissapoints in cancelling order

Normally an excellent experience but sowewhere the settings were changed and need a reset again. I ordered a present for Xmas but was too late to collect on Saturday. Now I realise the order was cancelled! On careful perusal of the reminder email, I saw at the bottom it stated if not collected within 48 hours after 18th, it will be cancelled and credited. The item was fully paid for, thus I don't see the sense in this? Consumers beware or be dissapointed like me.
