Takealot disgraceful serice-or lack of.

Ordered an expensive monitor.4 days later a cheap flat pack cupboard was delivered.Driver left it outside my gate,moment I opened my gate he drove off. Immediately tried to call takealot to get the item swapped -zero reply to call line then and on multiple calls since.So tried their supposed on line chat-not monitored AT ALL. Received a reply following Saturday-appalling service-with a message your return has been logged.The fOLLOWING Friday I get a message that a driver will collect the return that day.Driver pitches in a tiny car mask hanging down around neck and proceeds to breathe all over me-I had to load it into her car as too heavy. 4 days later I get a message -your return will get to the warehouse in 3 days and we will contact you to arrange further details. A WEEK later-so now almost 4 weeks-and after ignoring numerous messages on their online chat-which appears to ONLY work on Saturdays judging by the dates appearing on the replies-I get a message that my return has been approved-after having sent me TOTALLY the wrong item so their error in the first place-and the refund will be processed in 3 to 5 working days!! It eventually pitched in my account after another 7 days!!So they had my money,*****ed up the order and KEPT my money for approaching 6 weeks!!And THEY bankrolled the interest on 4k They are effectively rolling peoples' money!!!Stay well away -this is tantamount to *****-will dissuade everybody I know from using this nefarious crowd.
