Takealot disappoints once again

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>I purchased a Telefunken Radio/CD player last week as an Unboxed Deal (Order Number: ***). It does not work properly out of the box as the volume control is faulty - ie. the volume continues increasing to the maximum on its own. </p> <p> </p> <p>Takealot states that they carry out quality control on their unboxed deal products and check that they are in perfect working order. Obviously this was not the case. </p> <p> </p> <p>I would be fine if this was a once off matter, however this is now the 4th time that Takealot has proven to be *********. I bought a shaver and a trimmer previously, and both of these items were evidently USED as there was hair on the items. Absolutely disgusting and hygienic. And again, this was not my experience. My brother also bought a shaver and he had the same issue - the item was clearly used.</p> <p> </p> <p>At that time, all Takealot offered was to collect the item and provide me with a refund. Please don't "offer" this to me as this is your normal procedure and I can get this done via your website.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like to have a working Radio/CD player at home in this coming week, without the hassle and time wastage of a return-repair-refund.</p> <p> </p> <p>Takealot. Please buck up your case and sort this out.</p>
