Takealot Disappoints

To Whom it may concern I recently purchased a cellphone from Takealot that I need urgently. On the adverti*****t speed delivery is promised. Only when paying at the checkout was I informed that speed delivery was temporarily disabled because of high order volumes due to black Friday. I had no option at the time but to proceed with the transaction. I wrote numerous emails and made calls to consultants explaining my predicament and that I needed the cellphone to conduct my business and meetings. No effort or offer was made to assist me. I suggested that I could collect the purchase at their warehouse and that was not possible. This is what happens when a company becomes so big - it no longer cares about going the extra mile.
