Takealot Device Blacklisted

Utterly disappointed with Takealot, you would think that such a massive business would do a little more verification before allowing sellers to come on their platform and sell devices such as cellphones.

I bought a Samsung Smartphone in 2024, the price was good and it seemed like a great deal till January this year when the network stopped working. I had the phone checked and eventually ended up contacting my network carrier who advised the phone was Blacklisted. Apparently Takealots seller had some issues with the Wholesaler(MTN) due to non-payment and as such the devices have been blacklisted permanently.

Takealot is not a good place to buy Tech, please avoid this place with a Ten Foot pole. Additionally they have removed all their customer service channels, so you cannot contact them to get these issues resolved.
