Takealot Delivery, what is going on!!!

This is the first time where I have experienced such poor service from Takealot, I placed 2 orders on 20th July 2023 and the tracking information on the app indicated approximate delivery on 31st July 2023. I have not received my deliveries and today is already the 4th August 2023.

I have called the Takealot contact center daily each morning and was promised by the delivery consultant that she will resolve it by the end of the day. She also confirmed that the supplier delivered the items already on 26th July 2023 so she cannot understand why the warehouse hasn't uplifted my order and delivered it.

I am promised on each call that they will escalate this to the warehouse and come back to me by the end of the day but no one ever comes back to me.

If this is the service that Takealot is now offering then sorry and bye bye Takealot, I cannot wait for Amazon to launch in South Africa.

My orders were paid on 20th July and it is now over 2 weeks with no delivery, absolutely unacceptable from Takealot. The app is still showing the expected delivery date of 31st July 2023, really!!!
