Takealot Delivery Dates Changed Post Order - Resulting in Extreme Frustration and Inconvenience!!

On Monday, 18th Sept 2023, I ordered/paid-for two Volkano Weekender Duffle Bags for a holiday trip, planned for the 21st Sept 2023.

When I placed the order, Takealot indicated that both bags would be delivered by Wednesday, 20th Sept 2023. I was happy with the time-lines.

When I checked up on the order on the morning of the 19th Sept 2023, I noticed that the tracking data indicated an ‘adjusted’ delivery time-line; which now indicated delivery by Friday, 22nd Sept 2023 (the earliest).

This change in delivery times has now messed-up my plans for the holiday and greatly inconvenienced me, i.e. I’ve had to purchase 2 x low quality duffle bags from a grocery store.

As a loyal customer for over 5yrs, I am extremely disappointed with the sub-par service provided by Takealot!!
