Takealot - Delivery

Is it really pathetic how bad the delivery system is of takealot. This is the 2nd time I have purchased from takealot and have not been able to get my things based on a delivery stating that I am not at my residence. I am under a controlled access gate. Calls need to me made in order to collect. Why is it so hard to just call and say I have your delivery can you please collect?
