Takealot delivered the wrong item

Hello. I'm addressing you via this channel because the story is too long to submit via "Get in Touch" in your web site. I'm writing about Order # *** in the name of my daughter Lesley-Caren Johnson. She ordered and paid for the relevant product as a present for me. I received the product from her on Saturday evening. But, it is not the same product as detailed in the in the actual product display in your web site under: “Reversible Comforter - Dark Brown/Beige https://www.takealot.com/reversible-comforter/PLID***1?colour_variant=Dark”. In your “Takealot | Payment Confirmation | ***” mailed to her on 31 July you quote the detail shown in the product description as in the web site – obviously, out of your systems processing. Specific content in the web site product detail is 1) Third Party retailer name of Dream World and 2) product material type as Polycotton. What has arrived is a polyester comforter – of inferior quality in my opinion judging from the web site product content - which is clearly not the same as the one pictured in the web site product display. Further, from the five stickers on the product wrapping (which is only a clear plastic protective case in which the product is placed by the manufacturer) there is no information that ties the delivered article to the product description in the web site product information. On the product wrapping/protective case the seller is identified as Mina Genera Trading (Pty) Ltd with your(?) vendor ID ***6. Of the five stickers none ties back to the only product reference in the web site information, viz; a Bar Code RCDB05 ( and meaning that there is no visible SKU or similar product code in the web site display). So, I will be returning the product to your Edenvale collection depot on Wednesday afternoon and I am requesting that you supply the correct product- as ordered via the above given product URL. If you respond with some story that the correct product was supp**** then a refund is required please (for return of funds paid, to Lesley Caren Johnson at ***), I will be happy to collect the correct product at the Edenvale depot. I trust that, as the ultimate recipient of the product, you will be willing to interact with me in this matter but if not, please inform accordingly and the matter will be pursued by my daughter. Please confirm to me a) that you will communicate with me direct and b) today or tomorrow ahead of my trip to the Edenvale depot on Wednesday to return the item

Reviewer Update
I received an email from your Ntombozuko.S on 5 August in which she advised that it is not possible for you to interact with me and that to do so would require my daughter (Lesley Caren Johnson – the buyer) to provide a letter of consent. We have now circumvented that action path via her having logged a product Return via your web site. She has received reference MRRN-SAKDN-K879 and I will deliver the product to the local Collection Depot at Wilbart, Edenvale tomorrow. She was also advised on-screen that the persons dealing with the return at your end will investigate her inputs in the Return screen. I request that you please acquaint them with my original HP submission content of 5th . for underlying information. I have also mailed Ntombozuko.S of the registered Return and this further input on the HP review
