Takealot Daylight *******

Disappointed, I bought Centurion D6 Motorsafe anti theft box from Takealot after buying the motor from them. The item was delivered, when I tried to cover the motor, it didn't fit, the antitheft was smaller than the motor.

I informed Takealot, they reviewed my request and informed me that the driver will come before 17h00 on Monday 08 June. Before i packed the antitheft, I wiped the item and there were no defects on it. . I gave the driver the item in the original box, which was open.

Today, 11 June, I received the email from Takealot informing me that they have reviewed the item and it has defects showing it was mishandled. When I looked at the photos they sent, I saw the item is bent at one corner, which was not there when I was wiping the item, meaning it was not there when handed the item to their driver.

They therefore said that I don't qualify for refund or exchange.

This is daylight *******. What must I do with an item which doesn't fit my motor. The item was advertised to be for Centurion D5 and D6. I'll have reconsider using Takealot.
