Takealot damages item and then rejects return

After ordering a shampoo by mistake (instead of a conditioner), I put it back in the box immediately and logged a return. I didn’t use it or do anything to it. Takealot collected it and then rejected the return because they claim that the item was damaged by me. Clearly it was damaged either during transportation to their warehouse or while it was at their warehouse. But Takealot doesn’t give a **** and blames the customer. There is no option to review or appeal their decision so of course the customer has to accept whatever Takealot decides. I’ve been loyal to them for a long time and never had an issue so it’s even more disappointing when something like this happens and they couldn’t be bothered to respond to me.
