Takealot damages and *****s your goods

I bought a basin from Takealot with a 6 month warranty. The basin started to get a hairline crack, which resulted in water leaking from the basin.

I logged a return, which took them 9 days, and 2 return logs, to collect.

Before the driver took the basin, I took photos of the basin.

The return was then declined, on basin of "wear and tear form the user".

Takealot send me photos showing the "wear and tear" but the chip marks and damage was not from my use, but from a person or persons from Takealot as my photos clearly show there was NO chips as in their photos.

I was hoping to query the decline of the return, by sending them photos. But the basin was already back at my house 2 days after their mail (takes them a 9 days to collect, and 2 days to deliver). I did still send them a mail, which photos, showing the wear and tear was not from my use.

But Takealot still has not responded.

I've been a costumer for many many years. But I will now switch to Amazon, and cancel all my subscriptions at Takealot
