Takealot damaged my TV during a return collection
My Hisense TV that was still under warranty stopped working. The TV would not power on. I requested a return through Takealot and it was collected 2 days later. The following week I received an email stating that the screen was cracked and the warranty void. The TV was sent in perfect physical condition, I even went to the hardware store to buy enough Bubble wrap before sending the TV with the courier. The TV was damaged in transit or at the warehouse.
I contacted Takealot and was told that the TV was on its way back to me. I was advised to return the TV again and the representative opened a new return.
I then get the same response, that the warranty was void and that the TV would be returned to me.
I called again andbwas told that the representative will follow up with the warehouse and get back to me.
I have called numerous times and requested feedback many times, but the call either cuts off and I have to redial, or the rep doesn't respond to me.
There is no follow up on Takealot's part and customer service seems to be taking a stance of promising to provide feedback while nothing is done.
I am now sitting without my product for almost 3 weeks and have received no information about the way forward
