Takealot - credit refund hoax

When an item is undeliverable like during Covid19, Takealot automatically credits your account with the refund money - they do not ask what you would like to do meaning that you want it refunded to your bank account or have a credit with them. Trying to get a refund is near impossible as their help option does not give you the information to request a refund - no email address. Sending an email with credit refund is met with response that the *** email address will no longer be rep**** to. How exactly does one get a refund from these people and what about the interest they are drawing on my credit???????

In reality to show that they are above board with the credits, there should be a refund button next to the credit item, to facilitate and ease the process of requesting a refund, instead of trying to deter people from requesting a refund.

Their dealing concerning credit refunds are ********* and aimed to only benefit them, with no benefit to the client trying to reclaim their money. In my view this borders on theft.
