Takealot courier people damaged my return

I ordered a furniture item of R4000 from Takealot. It arrived flat packed in good condition. I decided I cannot build it and sent it Bach within 15 days. Their courier picked it up, but takealot informed me that the item was damaged at warehouse intake. They refuse to credit. The courier person must have damaged it, but they are not investigating. Now I do not have the item or the money and they are ignoring me.
