Takealot Counterfeit products....

I ordered an authentic Amazon Firestick from Takealot. When I eventually installed it the unit has been problematic and unstable. I eventually engaged a friend of mine that said he has one and can help me sort it out. On seeing his actual authentic Amazon Firestick we realised that Takelot has sent me a counterfeit product. I was amazed as the box and remote had all the Amazon logos on it. I lodged a return just to be told it has been declined.

I wrote them to escalate and reconsider my return request as this is breaking Counterfeiting Laws of South Africa. Absolutely zero response from them since. Seems like my only recourse is to report Takelot to the authorities for dealing in counterfeit goods.
