Takealot.com sold me a ****** cellphone

On the 3rd of February my cellphone did no longer work. I was unable to make calls or receive calls. After enquiry with my service supplier Vodacom, I was informed that my cellphone has been blacklisted by MTN.

When I contacted MTN, they informed me that it was impossible for MTN to blacklist a phone of a Vodacom client. A three week fight started with Vodacom, with no solution to the problem and I was referred back to MTN.

I immediately loaded a hellopeter against MTN and received immediate response. The lady requested a affidavit and a certified copy of my ID. She immediately e-mailed me back and said that the case has been referred to MTN's ***** unit.

On the 15th of March I received a call from MTN saying that their ***** investigation unit found out why my phone was blacklisted.

About a year ago, a truck with only Huawei products that was not distributed to services suppliers yet, was hi-jacked. Huawei SA instructed that all the IMEI numbers that was on the truck be blacklisted. As this is an instruction from Huawei they are unable to un-blacklist my phone and advised that I contact the company I bought the phone from.

The Huawei Ascend P8 Lite 5 was delivered to me on the 10th of December 2016 on order number ********** . I am not interested in who supp**** the phone to Takealot. I demand that Takealot refund me my money or supply me with another phone.
