Takealot.com has the worst logistics of any online company I've ever dealt with

Takelot sold me a vacuum cleaner that turned out to be pretty horrible - it was overheating, and we could not vacuum our small apartment in one go without it overheating. In fact, parts of the vacuum started warping to the point where the dust filter no longer worked. Granted, this is not the fault of Takealot. I tried returning the vacuum cleaner, after which Takealot failed to pick up the item FOUR times. I had to give them my correct phone number twice since the first person apparently didn't bother changing it on their system - a number I've not had in more than five years. When they eventually picked up the vacuum cleaner, I did not give the one pipe that came with the vacuum cleaner. My thoughts were that the pipe is likely to get seperated from the actual vacuum cleaner, and that you'll be able to SEE the vacuum is faulty without having the pipe. More than a week after the vacuum was picked up, after hearing nothing from Takelot, I opened up the site and checked the status myself. Turns out the status has changed 6 days ago, saying that there are accesories missing. I complained on the Takealot.com Facebook page that there had been no communication with me, and asked what I should expect to happen next. This post on Facebook turned into a thread of 20 messages, several failiures by Takealot to do the collection of the missing item. At one point they also apologised and said that an account manager would get back to me, which also didn't happen. It's now a month after I initially filed the return, and Takelot has repeatedly ****, and failed to commit on their promises + I'm out of a vacuum cleaner I paid for.
