Takealot cheating customers

I received 2 plate gas stove which was to big for where we needed it. It was supposed to come with a *****driver or something like that. We never opened the package until we needed it only to find we could not use it. We then returned it to Takealot, the asked for the missing item and I explained that it was not received by me. No they are saying the will not refund me my R899. Because it does not fall in with there policy as the item was not complete. They now have my money plus the stove. I did not report it missing within 7 days as we did not want to damage the stove until we had to install it. The 7 day thing was now only told to me after corresponding for about a month. So I am not a happy customer right now.
