Takealot - Change of price from basket to payment page

I was about to purchase a Talon generator with price R7599 on my phone with the Takalot App. When I viewed it, it showed R7599 and I was happy with that.

I had to change the delivery details and was trying to figure out how to add a note for the delivery, anyway within half an hour I returned and proceeded to payment. Everything was fine until I got to the payment page where the price changed the to R10500.

I have a screenshot that shows the R7599 price I originally clicked on, including a google search that shows the same.

I feel betrayed as a customer since I almost clicked next on that page! Why would anyone expect the price to change from the order page to the payment page - it's not normal.

I queried this with Takealot, but was given the generic, "we have no control" response. Don't they understand that this is their app and their website - they have all the control - including the control to ***** customers over.

I expect Takealot to sell me the product at the original price, with an apology. This is technically *********.
