Takealot cancels orders so that they do not have to provide the items at the original price

I ordered a number of items from Takealot and they were supposed to be delivered on the 13th of July (they arrived at the courier depot on the 10th of July) but because there was alcohol in the order it was decided to cancel my whole order. I went to the pickup centre at Motor City at Constantia Kloof to find out if I could get the rest of the items minus the alcohol as I needed those items on the 13th of July. I was told that all of the items had been sent back to the warehouse. When I checked the prices for the 3 items I wanted to get I have now found that the price for 2 of the items has increased by 19% and 42%. It is not my fault that the laws were changed and now you are trying to price gouge me on the items because you decided to cancel the order unilaterally? This is not right or fair at all. Did Takealot deliberately cancel my order so that you could increase the prices and make more money off me?
