Takealot can guarantee delivery

<p>I placed an order from takealot. It was a birthday gift for a 4 year old child. I placed the order on 16 Nov and payed extra for the 'next day Guaranteed Delivery' option. So the gift was supposed to be delivered on the 17 Nov. Guess what, on the 17 we are notified that its delivered to the incorrect branch and that they will not be able to deliver. After speaking to the supervisor they phone me back and say they will deliver on the evening of 17 Nov before 9:00pm. Just before 9:00pm we received an SMS that they will not be able to deliver. I immediately tried to phone them but they were closed. The gift only arrived on 21 Nov at 13:38. The birthday long gone. I am very disappointed with the service, and nobody even phoned me to inform me what will happen with the extra money I paid for the 'guaranteed next day delivery'. I will share my experience with everybody</p> <p> </p>
