Takealot biggest **** under the sun

Ordered a book through takealot. R279 for the book and R75 for delivery cost for a total of R354. Takealot delivered the package to my house on Saturday only after opening the package to discover it is the incorrect book. So I called the Takealot customer center. I explained to the lady what my problem was and gave my order number. Then this lady ask me " Sir are you sure it is the incorrect book" I said yes I'm sure. Then she ask me " can you please take a photo of the book you received and email it to me so that I can see if it is the incorrect book" What the hell do you think I cant read. Why would I order a book if I cant read.... so after loosing my temper because of her thinking I'm stupid I asked to speak to a Manager. At this time I handed the phone to my wife to sort the problem with the Manager. So now the manager eventually answer and after a long discussion told my wife ok they will fix it. They will send someone to come and collect the incorrect book on the Monday and the book I ordered will be delivered the Wednesday or Friday, they have stock availing. Monday they are very quick to collect the incorrect book. On Tuesday I got a message that R275 has been credited to my Takealot account. So I called on Wednesday to check what the progress is, only to be asked dident the lady who helped you Sateday called to inform you we dont have stock and that we credited the money of the book so you can buy something else.

No the lady did not inform me of this and your manager who we spoke too said you have stock and now you dont. So now I ask but the total price is R354 including the delivery. Now I'm told that they will check if they will refund the delivery cost.

I paid for a book whick you delivered incorrect after taking my intelligents into question by asking if I'm sure it is incorrect and then you manager promising the book will be delivered.

I want all my money paid back to me I dont want anything on your app or shop or anything to do with Takealot. You are *****ing money and making empty promises.

I will never again use your website, app or anything to do with Takealot and I will spread the word for other people not to get taken for a ride as well by you.

After seeing the number of bad reviews on this platform I will be ashamed of myself if I was Takealot.
