Takealot bad service

I ordered a Defy chest freezer from Takealot on 28/2/24 and paid for it. The item was delivered on 1/3/24. When I opened the plastic I saw it was badly damaged it was obviously a used and returned freezer I complained on the 1/3/24. It was very tightly wrapped and I had to cut the plastic around the freezer to see it. Every other packaging was there. When they came to collect it they refuse to take it because the plastic was opened. I had to buy plastic and rewrap it and eventually it was collected on 5/03/24. I expected a new freezer immediately. All I am told is they are evaluating it. 9 days later I am still waiting and each time upon enquiring I am told they are still evaluating. I cancelled my order and still waiting for a refund. I will not use takealot again.
