Takealot bad service

I bought an Omega kettle from Takealot which was delivered to me on 1 Aug 2024. On opening the box I noticed that the handle had been broken where the top part joins the body of the kettle. I immediately logged a return on the app. Takelot declined the return 'due to visible user damage' according to them. I vow never to buy from Takealot again due to their poor service and inferiority of some products. I have to say that I find it highly suspicious that they don't supply a telephone number where they can be contacted.
