Takealot #BackTheBoks ****

I took part in the Takealot #BackTheBoks campaign in good faith, paid the amount for the TV with no surety that the Boks would win and I would get the refund. Against all the odds, the Boks did win and I’ve since been trying to contact Takealot to get my refund, they keep telling me stories. Firstly they told me the campaign ran from 02 October to 25 October, which was a lie, I send them a screenshot as well as the tweet advertising that the initial campaign actually ran from September. They then changed the story and said they were wrong, the initial campaign ended 20 September, not 25 October anymore, and that they received my order on the 21st of September. I have an invoice switch I send them clearly showing that the item I bought was from the campaign and they keep changing stories. I aim to post this review as well as the screenshot from the dialogue with Takealot on social media to show the lengths they’re willing to go to back out of their promises! They’ve not only lost a loyal customer but also shown they’re true colours! Shameful!
