Takealot are curious

I wanted to buy a Samsung flash drive which I saw on the Takealot site. As we know a lot of Chinese goods are of doubtful quality so I asked Takealot by email where the item was manufactured. I was surprised to read the following reply

Hope this email finds you well. Please be advised that we unfortunately cannot give out this information.

Are they ashamed to sell Chinese goods? Are they unable to read what it says on the pack possibly "Made in China"

I will now view all Takealot goods as suspect.
