Takealot are a bunch of lairs and *******!!

On the 18th of April I was due to receive my package from Takealot. It had never arrived!!! I got a message stating that "we tried to deliver your order but the recipient was not available" , biggest load of nonsense as no one had even arrived to drop my package off!!! I then proceeded to phone Takealot and was told that they would see if they could get hold of the courier and get back to me. no one got back to me, no surprise there, service in the country is appalling. I proceeded to phone them again and yet again no answers to what was happening. Thereafter I received an email stating that Takelot had emailed "the branch" to send the driver out again and that they will give feedback. NO FEEDBACK again!!! After phoning Takelot for the 4th time, I managed to get some sorry excuse for an answer from them. I was told that my package was dropped off at the Southern Suburbs branch and that they had been emailing them with no response and that they had tried calling them but no one was answering. THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!! I was also told that they would get back to me as soon as possible, I am still waiting! The package that I had ordered was a gift for my mother for her birthday, thanks to Takealot , her birthday has been ruined!!! Takealot's service is shocking and their call center is just as useless. Unfortunately I had to give them a 1 star rating because it does not give me the option to give no stars.
