Takealot - Absolutely Appalling Service

I made an honest mistake when checking out an online order. While the item was already out for delivery, the driver called me to confirm delivery — and only then did I realise the address error.

Since then, I have tried everything to correct the delivery address or arrange redelivery. I even offered to pay additional delivery costs to fix the mistake.

Takealot’s response? “We are unable to change an address once an order is placed.”

This is completely unacceptable. The incorrect address is a holiday property that is only occupied during the December festive season, meaning delivery is impossible.

So now Takealot has my money AND the device I paid for, and refuses to offer any reasonable solution. No flexibility, no accountability, no customer care.

This is absolutely appalling service and shows zero willingness to help a paying customer over a simple, fixable issue.

Now lets see if this order can be cancelled!!!!
