TAKEALOT - A SOURCE TO **********?

Takealot has always been my convenient option for shopping and felt it was secure enough to protect me from any form of ***** or ****. Until last week Wednesday (3/2/16) I purchased something from Takealot Site. I noticed my first attempt the response was slow so I managed to place my order but didn't make payment. I went for second try of which my payment went through as Takealot had my credit card details saved, I just had to follow verification process.<br> <br> It seemed safe and simple at the time until the night of the Wednesday. Multiple transactions went off my credit card till the early morning of Thursday. I was asleep during the time<br> <br> My entire credit card overdraft was taken and used for online shopping via an american clothing store named JCPENNY. The amount was close to R40 000!!!<br> <br> My only understanding of this case is that I used TAKEALOT last and never use my credit card for any other transaction prior to this occurrence. <br> <br> I am shaken up and extremely disturbed whilst my case lays with ABSA ***** Department, knowing Takealot could've been the cause to my loss!!<br> <br> Takealot has lost me as its customer and I warn consumers to be careful when they decide on there online needs!!
