Takealot

For Xmas I purchased from Takealot a Xbox gold 12 month subscription for my son. However when we entered the key code it said that it had already been redeemed. I contacted takealot who have since advised me that I have to log a call / claim with Microsoft. This seems a little weird to me that after buying something at takealot I now have to contact Microsoft. I have been a loyal consumer of takealot, but this is absolutely crazy. They are the ones with my money. Why do I have to lodge a claim. Why? If I bought a dress from Edgars I wouldn't have to send a claim to the seamstress who sewed the dress. The item says hassle free returns. Apparently NOT. I gave the item a terrible review and that has not been added. How many other people have suffered the same fate I wonder I would never suggest anyone to purchase any digital content from the store. BEWARE OF TAKEALOT
