Takealot

I bought a cctv system from takealot that was advertised as a ready to install kit. This in order to have an eye on my property as I am not often there. On installing the system, the technician noticed some cameras not working. On further inspection and after calling the manufacturer, he found out that the DVR was not compatible with some of the cameras.

After requesting an exchange of the dvr from takealot and after returning only the dvr, takealot without warning, credited me with the full amount and inform me there is no dvr that they can send me. Now there is no response from takealot and I am sittimg with a half installed system that does not work and which leaves my family and property ay risk. Takealot is becoming worse with their client service.
