Takealot

My husband ordered a PS5 yesterday from Takealot after looking out for deals and promotions for 3 weeks literally not long after we placed the order the same PS5 goes on promotion.So we feel its unfair and asked them kindly if we can get it for that promotional price and just refund us with a voucher for the difference and they just respond back by saying that we must look out for deals and price changes and saying that they can’t do anything about it and we must look out for promotion's the cheek.They keep sending back the same email jWe have looked out for promotions and I understand if the promotion was on a different day that we placed the order but it was not even a hour later after we placed the order they dropped the price.I feel if its the same day price drop everyone should get it for that price that day and in our case this happened not even and hour after we placed the order not cool.It’s not my first time having an issue with takealot this year as they didn’t want to refund me on a item at first that was described as waterproof and then wasn’t waterproof at all the matter was sorted out eventually but also after having to send countless emails.Like I explained same day price drops should be for everyone that purchase that item that day.If they want to have an attitude of just pulling up there shoulders and saying sorry you missed out then they must keep there business and we will order our things from other places from now on.
