TAKEALOT

We ordered a valuable and breakable item from TAKEALOT. Delivery date stated as 14 August 2019. Queried it on 15 August 2019 as no delivery had taken place. TAKEALOT's reply was that it was delivered and signed for at 13:00 on 13 August 2019.

As proof they sent a copy of the delivery note. The item was signed for by someone with the name of "Johan" (NOT MY NAME) with a cellphone number attached. Upon contacting this person, it was found that the item was:

SIGNED FOR BY THE WRONG PERSON AT THE WRONG ADDRESS IN THE WRONG TOWN.

Takealot is washing their hands off this.
