TAKEALOT - ****

Takealot sent me it's daily deals special. What happened on 29 March 2023 @ 07:16am, I received their usual and normal email of daily deals specials, among others, the George and Mason 25cm Caserole pot Cream-priced at R399 saving 66%. At around 08:00 When I place an order of 2 pots - clicking on - Get The Deal to be put into a cart the price changed to R699. I phoned the Customer Care and was told to forward the advert email in question. I did that and was told that they will get back to me soon. While waiting for their response, I went on to check if the pots are still available. They delayed and played on time depleting the availability of stock until there were out of stock. Then they revert with some lousy Terms and Conditions. The rule is "the price you see is the price you pay". As a result I canceled my account because I believe it was unfair from their side to put a price and send it to customer and at the end they couldn't keep up with it. It is cheating and de*****ing at its best definition. I am done with Takealot.
