Takeallot.com how to lie and get caught doing it

<p>I purchased a modem order# ********** 9 on the 19th April... A daily deal, as before received a confirmation email and that the order will be ready by the 5th May. </p> <p> </p> <p>Today 20th April I receive an email from Ravena Naidoo saying: "We're terribly sorry to let you know that we no longer have stock of the following item in your order ********** 9</p> <p>Unfortunately we are unable to source the item from our suppliers. We have therefore cancelled the item from your order and credited your Takealot profile."</p> <p> </p> <p>I was suprized as there was. I indication that there was no stock. I quickly checked and the item was still advertised on the website, only now it was at the normal price. </p> <p> </p> <p>I mailed Ravena back to ask why it was on the site of there was no stock and they could not get any from their suppliers. Her answe was </p> <p>"The item that is showing on the site is from another supplier in Market Place "</p> <p> </p> <p>Hold on I was just told they could not source the item from ANY of the suppliers. So I rep**** saying, that I felt it would only be fair to give me the same item at the price I paid for it. </p> <p> </p> <p>Ravena rep**** "Different suppliers charge different prices. As the original supplier did not have any stock"</p> <p> </p> <p>Seriously now, do I look like a fool...first my order will be ready, then no stock and cannot be sourced from any supplier, then it can be sourced from a supplier but you will need to pay full price. Why do I feel like I'm been taken for a ride.</p> <p> </p> <p>I rep**** asking for a contact person in a higher position. I did not receive a reply.</p> <p>The lack of customer service was beyond frustrating.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have enjoyed shopping with this complany up until today. I understand things happen with stock, errors etc. but this is a bull story and I would appreciate a call back or an acceptable response. Lie lie lie </p> <p> </p>
