Take responsibility

I purchased a hoover cylinder 2000w vac in January 2022 to clean my studio apartment which consists of ONE 4x4 rug. End of April it started overheating. I requested an exchange which was denied. I then read the reviews, which I sorely wish I'd done earlier.... multiple complaints with exact same experiences going back at least a year. R1600 thrown into the trash. TAKELOT SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY and not keep proven defective unsupported goods on their website!!! Maybe they should at least refund us their commission ?
