Take A Lot thinks they are above the CPA.

In the last 6 weeks I have been trying to get assistance with regards to a refund on an unfinished printer sold to me by @takealotcom

The printer had no connection cable to actually connect it and had no blue tooth.

I had ordered it with a specific project in mind and upon realising the printer wouldn’t work and there wasn’t time to buy another before project due date.

It was over a weekend and I had to do printing that would have cost me R 100 in ink on a printer, paying R 1100 for the printing at the POSTNET. I also purchased a still unopened special printing paper which they say cannot be returned and I couldn’t use this paper - its still here - sealed - and the project I needed it for long gone….

For the last 3 weeks I have requested via their Facebook I have posted regularly. Almost every day I have messaged them directly. They say every day they are working on it.

During this time they have picked up the printer and returned it twice, the second time, I thought for sure they would sort it out until a man arrived on Tuesday attempting to give me the printer for the 3rd time I refused to accept it and literally screamed at the guy. and then tried to return the printer 3 times. They have it now.

For the last week, I have been requesting an official email for a complaint to THENCC for the CPA violation involved. They refuse to provide a working email address to send the report. I will be submitting this without that info now, and I am going to request retribution for my time, the wasted costs. You are theives @takealotcom - after such a long happy relationship I am bitterly disappointed that I am pushed to this point over what you are legally mandated to do.
