Take a lot (South Africa) and Zeepers

On 23 February 2026 I ordered a IDS 12V 8amp battery from Take a lot (South Africa) (supp**** by Zeepers) When I collected the battery it was unwrapped and full of scratches with a date stamp of 25/12/09 on it. I returned the battery stating that it is a used item dated 25 December 2009. on the 27 February 2026 they sent me a replacement battery, to my disappointment it was the exact same battery. I again returned the battery. On 3rd March 2026 they again sent me a replacement and again to much disappointment it was the exact same battery.

If that is not taking somebody for a complete fool then i don't know what is. Although this battery comes from an outside supplier, Take a lot is also to blame as I am a Take a lot customer and it is their responsibility to do Quality control checks on items that they are packing in Take a lot boxes and sending to their customers
